Consultation
Vein disease varies substantially between affected individuals. At PDI, we work closely with you to develop a treatment approach that specifically addresses your goals and expectations. At your initial consultation, we will help you to understand the nature of your vein condition. In discussing the treatment options, we will help you to choose the best approach to meet your goals.
For many vein abnormalities, appropriate treatment planning requires an initial carefully performed ultrasound examination of your veins. This can be performed at the time of your initial consultation visit or following that visit. During the initial office consultation, we will discuss your symptoms and concerns, as well as perform a targeted physical examination of your abnormal veins. Once these preliminary steps are completed, we will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Follow-up visits are important for most types of vein therapy. At PDI, these visits are arranged with your convenience in mind – at either of our two locations. Once an individual treatment is complete, we will continue to be your trusted resource for dealing with this condition that is chronic for most people.
